JRS 13-CSD Industrial Grinder

The first and smallest of our industrial high production grinders.  The 13-CSD is perhaps our most popular of all our machines – economical yet efficient.   With available options this mill can produce well over 3500 pounds per hour, dependent upon material being ground, with a price that will more than pay for itself.  The 13-CSD is most often used in processing, rubber bales and components, small to medium plastic purge and components, piping, carpet and various organics. Available in 100 – 150 horse power.

With the option of our unique star feed bale feeder (pictured), the 13-CSD is the perfect machine to grind raw rubber bales in sizes of approximately 6 x 15 x 28.  Other sizes can be accommodated and larger bales can be processed in our 13-CSE or larger units.  The unique bale feed design, meters the bale into the rotor to promote a shaving type action rather than simple chopping or grinding.  This allows the unit to run smoother and cooler.

Processing rates for rubber bale grinding vary depending on the material chemistry and final particle size required.
