Jordan Reduction Solutions is proud to continue a legacy of quality, durability and performance that has made our industrial shredders, grinders, and granulators second to none. Our complete line of size reduction equipment and recycling equipment are designed to process plastics, vinyl, rubber, PVC, carpet, tires, wood, textiles, and many other materials. As the OEM successors to Mitts and Merrill, we are dedicated to continued excellence in industrial shredding solutions.
Jordan Reduction Solutions offers a wide range of industrial shredders for recycling or simple destruction. With dual speed counter rotating shafts and our unique cushioned drive train system, our shredders can handle the most rugged and adverse shredding conditions, while protecting against jams, shock loads and other unpredictable aspects of material reduction. We also offer several of our units with integral bed screens for more accurate end product production sizes.
Our Dual Shaft Shredders are built for rugged, durable long-lasting service. Many of our installations continue to produce and shred 30-40 years after their initial installation date. Originally Mitts and Merrill, Jordan Reduction Shredders was one of the first dual shaft shredders to be manufactured in the United States. All of our equipment is still proudly manufactured in the U.S.A.
Low speed, high torque, dual shaft Shredders designed for rugged, high volume shredding. From small to large applications, Jordan Reduction Solutions makes a shredder, grinder or granulator to fit any need. Whether your project is for paper, plastic, rubber, tires, white goods or an array of other products, we have the equipment you need to handle your lightest to most demanding size reduction needs.
The premier equipment line of Jordan Reduction Solutions is our Hog Mill Grinders. No other grinder on the market has the versatility of application as do these rugged and dependable units. Several installations of these grinders are still in operation after 50 years from original start up. We offer a high performance Grinder line with engineered performance holding design patents as far back as 1925. We have continued to enhance our equipment to be the top performing and most reliable grinder equipment offered for size reduction needs.
Designed for high-speed and high-inertia operation, these grinders can power through materials ranging from organics to uncured rubber with minimal horse power requirements and high production capacities. Rotors are cast in carbon or stainless depending on the application requirements and are a closed rotor design–ideal for reducing large heavy infeed materials down to particle size of 1/8 to 3/8”. Grinder applications include plastic, rubber, wood, fabric, and all other industrial materials requiring grinding, destruction, or size reduction.
Our rugged granulators have been designed and constructed using the most rugged components available. From various fabricated base designs to solid forged rotors, all of Jordan’s granulator components are engineered and constructed to meet your toughest applications with long term reliability.
Designed for high-speed and medium-inertia applications, our open rotor cylinders are available in 3, 5, 10 or 15 blade designs dependent upon machine model and material application. These units can process a variety of materials in final reduction sizes down to 20 mesh dependent upon the material being processed.
Open rotor granulators come in a variety of feed options from clam shell safety hoppers for hand feeding to open front, high capacity conveyor feed options. We also offer lab style versions with manual feed rolls for additional flexibility in feeding styles. Heavier duty granulators are also offered for more high capacity and tougher production needs.
